If you still wish to join, all you need to do is follow the simple instructions and upload a photo of your workstation at home or in your work place. You don’t need to have a Nokia phone to do this, but you do need to be based in Manila, Philippines to join. Post from: Cellphone9

WebOS 1.2.1 fixes Palm Pre iTunes syncing

Filed under: My choice, Review - 04 Oct 2009

Palm Fixes iTunes Sync, Again, in WebOS Update

The cat and mouse game between Palm and Apple continues. According to Palm's official Web site, the company just released an update to their WebOS software for Palm Pre phones that "Resolves an issue preventing media sync from working with latest version of iTunes (9.0.1)." The update also fixes Exchange 2007 compatibility, but that's not the big news here.

No, the news is that Palm intends to continue trying to hook into Apple's proprietary media software, even after being rebuked by the USB Implementers Forum for making the Pre masquerade as an iPhone. In this case, it took about three weeks for Palm to defeat whatever protective measures Apple put into iTunes 9.

If you're sick of the back and forth, you may want to consider the free syncing alternative iTunes Agent, which doesn't violate any of Apple's rules and works fine with the Palm Pre.
