MySpace and classifieds aggregator Oodle are teaming up for a new section of MySpace Classifieds. The updated site, which went live today, will let users create, edit, and promote their ads. Oodle will also pull listings from hundreds of other classifieds sites.

The partnership makes MySpace more social, according to Oddle CEO Craig Donato. "Listings are linked to MySpace profiles - not anonymous IDs, and users can enlist their friends to help them buy or sell through MySpace bulletins and blogs," he wrote in a blog post.

MySpace said the upgraded site is better integrated into MySpace so people can more easily share information with their friends.

"By integrating classifieds into MySpace's social framework, users can better understand who they're selling (or giving to) and who they buying from," MySpace said. "This not only makes it safer, it makes it more social. And by sharing what they're looking for (extra tickets, scuba gear) that are much more likely to find friends who can help them out."

MySpace launched its classified section in 2004 and it gets about 1 million visitors each month. Rivals Facebook and Friendster added classified sections in 2007.

This will be the first time that the show and even the NFL in general, has offered such an interactive feature. Live Web feeds of Sunday Night Football will begin on the first game of the season on September 4th with a matchup of the Washington Redskins and the New York Giants.
