MutualArt.com opened to the public at the end of March. The service was previously in closed beta and invitation only, but launched with over 200 museums and 1200 galleries as partners. Information from those galleries and museums, along with published articles from over 250 art publications and a highly customizable interface make MutualArt.com a destination for any art enthusiast. The only trick is the price; if you're not invited to the service by an existing member, you can only join the service if you're a guest of or partner with one of the participating galleries or museums, or if you cough up $300 for a membership.
