Foretal - Logo

Everyone thinks they can predict the future. Now you your friends can collectively try your hands at fortune telling and vote on the predictions of others at Foretal. If your prediction comes true, it could be highlighted on the front page, or you could even win a cash prize.

Accounts at Foretal are completely free, and when you join, you can immediately start voting on predictions. Foretal's community looks to be largely based in Europe, but the predictions members make are global. Ten random predictions are listed on the front page, and you can search for specific predictions using the search bar on the left.

Foretal - Front Page

Beneath the search bar are all of the categories, including nature and the environment, politics and current affairs, sports, celebrities, and more. If you're particularly interested in whether or not Apple will release a new 3G iPhone in the near future, you can vote on it in the technology category, or if you want to take bets on who'll win the presidency in November, you can vote in the politics and current affairs category.

Foretal - Poll Widget

Not all of the predictions are contentious though; one user wants to see whether the community thinks that US honey production will drop this summer, causing honey prices to double or triple. Another user thinks that roll-up video displays less than 2mm thick will be available for computers and home theaters for less than $1000 before 2015. Each prediction has a "deadline," or by what time the prediction will become reality.

Once you've ...
