Agree2 is one part great service and one part really scary notion. It allows users to create, collaborate on, and digitally sign binding legal agreements. But it does nothing to ensure that the agreements are legally sound.

Good part first: With that service, you can either create a new agree…

Now that Blu-ray has emerged as the lone HDM victor, that aging VCR is likely looking for a new domestic (if it wasn’t already). Thankfully, we’ve found the perfect excuse to rip it wide open versus hauling it off to the local thrift store. In one of the more elaborate how-to guides that we’ve s…

Facebook says no to OpenSocial, yes to taking your money

Panoye: Geotagged Panoramic Photos

Panoye - Logo If you've never taken a "desktop vacation," you should. The idea is to travel to a distant place in just a few moments by visiting travel sites and online tours, or just by browsing someone's photos. At Panoye, you don't have to visit an ad-filled travel site to see gorgeous panoramic photos of places around the world. The panoramic shots are uploaded and geotagged on a Google Map by the people who took them, so you can easily find out where they are and how close they are to other cities.

Panoye is part social network for travel enthusiasts and part photo site for photography buffs. The site allows photographers to connect with one another by commenting on and geotagging one another's photos. Members can create accounts and upload their panoramic shots for the world to see. You can subscribe to your favorite photographers through the site or through RSS, and you can rate and comment on the photos that have already been uploaded.

Panoye - Featured

Panoye's strength lies in its collection of panoramic photographs: Just click on a photo from anyone's gallery and you're given a 360-degree view of the landscape they've captured. You can find panoramic shots of all types at Panoye; a remote tropical paradise, an urban streetscape, or even someone's backyard. When you open the photo page, you can click and drag around the view, scroll around it, or set the photo to scroll automatically.
