SilkFair - Banner

The eBay boycott marches on, and frustrated buyers and sellers are looking for alternative markets to sell and buy items. There are more than a few eBay alternatives, but every now and again one appears that's particularly interesting. SilkFair, a Web marketplace aimed at handmade crafts, antiques, jewelry, and other products, is one of those sites. The site is beautifully designed and has a large community of buyers and sellers. You get a custom storefront with your own blog and store setup, you can upload videos to show off your products, and accept payment via PayPal, Google Checkout, and more.

SilkFair - Featured

Featured items for sale at SilkFair live on the front page, where you can see a photo of the item along with a link to the product description and the price, if you're interested in buying it. Because many of the items at SilkFair are either homemade arts and crafts or secondhand items, the prices are low ...
