Registered Wordpress Users

I have one simple question today, what do you do regarding the new individuals who register at your blog.  There are several bloggers who provide great tips and free downloads that are only available to people who register to be a part of their blog.  Others use this as an opportunity to grow their “mailing list” or “opt-in” list.  But what do you do?

I, personally don’t think it is appropriate to send any selling emails to those who have registered for my blog.  I do, however think it is a great chance to prove your worth, if you will, to your readers.  By them singing up to be a part of your blog, you are given the opportunity to provide valuable information to them regarding your niche.  The more “free” and helpful info you give, the more you are likely to receive in the future.

There are many services that will pay good money for your list of Wordpress registered users, but this is not a route I am willing to take.  People register for my blog hoping to get tips and info from me, not some affiliate scavenger trying to make a buck online.

If you have any good tips regarding how to handle your Wordpress registered users, please leave a comment below.  I know there are several new bloggers who are looking for ways to improve the overall experience for their blog readers.  Good luck building your readership and I wish you nothing but success.
