New Web 2.0 Social Bookmarking Site Hits The Scene

I stumbled across another Web 2.0 social bookmarking scene today and thought I would talk about it a bit. EarthFrisk (EF) is the latest of Web 2.0 social sites that caters to both visitors and webmasters alike. EF is sort of a MySpace social networking site with a twist of Digg.

As a registered user of EF you are able to submit your favorite blog posts or any post you come across while searching the web. You are also provided your own “personal” page where you can blog about anything that crosses your mind. This, in my opinion, is a great way to build relationships while you are spreading your knowledge and expertise about your chosen niche.

Some of the best features of EF include:

  • A Full Social Networking Side that anyone can create blogs, groups, share photos and more.
  • A Voting side where members can promote their blogs, news items and articles - allowing others to vote and comment on them.
  • An Ef it Button (originally derived from a curse term) where your site visitors can jump to the most popular sites submitted by others, all the while not leaving your site!
  • A full article directory enabling anyone to upload thier articles.
  • A Section called ‘Create a Page’ where anyone can create whole pages to promote their blogs, sites or whatever else they feel like sharing.
  • A full Blinkx Video Wall where anyone can search for videos from across all platforms and companies such as Myspace, YouTube and Daily Motion Video. Results displayed on a huge ‘Matrix Like’ Video Wall. (source PRWeb)

EarthFrisk, I’m sure will grow to be a solid contender in the battle of Web 2.0 social bookmarking sites. With all the options available through their site and the continued explosion in popularity of Web 2.0 social networks, EF is sure to be a success.
